Wild Dogs 1998-2001 came together after a Bangin Moon show in portland where i had seen Malice drummer Pete Laufman and also Michael Brown who had been with the local version of Dr Mastermind.

Michael was the 3time winner of the hot shot guitar contest promoted by the Portland Music Company and an incredible player and wonderful human being unfortunately Michael was killed by cancer 4 years ago after the doctors told him he was cured, a common tale of many of my friends. too many IMO

During the time this group was together we wrote 28 songs and were support act for Great White, Dio, Dokken, Thor, Blue Oyster Cult and many local tribute bands, we were on a rigorous rehearsal/writing schedule 2-4 times per week(taking my cue from the original Wild Dogs and everyone put this lineup as their main focus and sole priority. and we were GREAT! and extremely prolific once the set was rehearsed the focus was on writing new material every week

I took the band into Recording Associates with producing engineer Bob Stoutenburg and came out with 5 songs ( they appear on the King of the world Cd)with another 12 songs recorded at rehearsal that i finished with Bryce Van Patten at Man in black studio in 2002 it was the first * new cd on usmetal records

it was a very busy 3 years and one of the best and most creative times for me
