BRITISH STEEL - DOC'S PORTLAND OR 2001

" this was the best first gig this band has ever done it in 6 years together and a few lineup changes,I had more fun at this gig than ever and the place was packed said Lance DennyLead guitarist for the hottest tribute to JUDAS PRIEST - BRITISH STEEL.

And despite the sound problems, ( the place is usually host to a bevvy of portland's most beautiful exotic dancers who were all in attendance and quite randy.....and giget and well..ya gotta go next time.. it's the most fun and most relaxed rocknroll jointin the Northwest- one of portlands best kept saturday night specials we 're gonna start listing their events on us metal )

oh yeah .. back to the story.. Despite the sound configuration of the room you could always hear vocalist Brian allen's voice screaming loud and proud like the beast from the east himself..to hear that voice alone is worth the price of admission the whole gig remoinded me of seeing the fabulos MOTORHEAD at the old waldorf in San Francisco back in 1980 on the ace of spade tour.. those crushed to the front were treated to a sound pressure level on par with the concorde in mid takeoff.. but it didnt pierce my eardrums like some dothe gig was built around a tie in with JAGERMEISTER and sydney frank the lovely people who supply the western world with that smooth delicious and mind enlightening concoction.. so many hats lanyards and tatoos were tossed and displayed on various parts of well muscled anaotmy the people who :"earned em loved it" it was like "the ultimate house party naked wiomen running around and killer heavy metal, the posters said BOOZE METAL AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN.. ya cant go worong with that.

we did dthe best we could to provide pics of people having a good time the ones we published are what we could - ( no one bought the ol "we're from the magazine.. can we take your NUDE picture please.....aunt thelma maybe watchin next gig we cover we're going get smart on em...)
